Simple Dealer: Onboarding

Lead Product Designer (2020 - 2022)

Our 3-year old desktop app needed to be migrated to the web, requiring a new onboarding flow. As a design engineer, I leveraged my understanding of web affordances to reimagine the onboarding process. I designed and implemented a web-based onboarding flow that took advantage of web-specific features. This migration improved accessibility and streamlined the user onboarding experience.

Simple Dealer: Invoicing

Lead Product Designer (2020 - 2022)

Our web app needed to incorporate billing features, including unique add-ons with separate fees. I led the design process, considering both presentation and functionality of the billing system. I designed an intuitive billing interface that accommodated our complex pricing structure. This feature addressed a major business objective, streamlining our previously manual billing process.

Simple Dealer: Simple Status

Lead Product Designer (2020 - 2022)

As the first product in its category, we needed to rethink how loan statuses are displayed for deals. I collaborated closely with the CEO to ideate and iterate on the design. We developed a novel way to visualise loan statuses to fit our unique product needs. This innovative design enhanced user understanding of deal statuses, setting our product apart in the market.

Candlelit Care: Groups

Senior Designer & Head of Product (2022 - Present)

Our maternal mental health coaching service needed to expand to offer group sessions, requiring a new web page. I extended our recent rebrand to design a calendar view and event detail cards. Being the marketing site engineer, I built this page in code. This new page addition helped us reach and serve groups more effectively, expanding our coaching services.

Candlelit Care: Website Pages

Senior Designer / Design Engineer (2022 - Present)

Following a rebrand, we needed to extend a new landing page design across about 20 individual pages. I focused on maintaining brand consistency while adapting the template for various content needs. I created multiple pages, including an about page, that aligned with the new brand identity. This work reinforced my skills in building on existing brand guidelines and ensured a cohesive website experience.

Candlelit Care: Surveys

Senior Designer & Head of Product (2022 - Present)

Our coaches needed a survey to assess members' mental health vulnerabilities. I prioritised simplicity and adaptability in the design, focusing on mobile-first principles even though the initial design was for the desktop. I created a series of survey pages for desktop, which would require minimal adjustments for smartphone users. This design enabled efficient and accessible mental health assessments for our members.

BoughtSpot: KIMO Exploration

Lead Designer (2019)

A local sanitary ware and tiles store needed a rebrand after about 30 years in operation. My partner and I pitched designs for their new e-commerce store. I led initial exploration for the site, focusing on simplicity and earthly tones. These are two of the pages we designed for the pitch. Even though we didn't get the job, it was work I was proud to have designed.

BoughtSpot: Smart Cloud Farming Exploration

Web Designer (2018)

An innovative agri-monitoring software startup wanted to rebrand. Someone close to the team reached out so I could pitch to work on the new website. I took some time to design an on-brand, content-optimised landing page to submit my interest. We didn't get to work together, but this was work tested my ability to formulate design ideas with little-to-no information.

BoughtSpot: Wildest Wish TV

Web Designer (2023)

An existing client wanted to venture into a new business space. With little time remaining to launch, he needed a landing page. My goal was to focus on presenting an imagery of entertainment without giving too much away, since it was an internet TV station. I designed and built this landing page which was mobile optimised, and had a clear call-to-action for site visitors.
